mr. guthrie is nice, and synergy's more like an FAD or peer support group kind of thing, than CME. we have about like 8-10 people in our group including me, and there's only two girls, this thai girl called nok (sp?) and I. and the rest are all guys. one of them is sudipta, who's from india, we had the same buddy during orientation. so we discussed our new timetable and handbook which is called the middle school agenda, and then played this get-to-know-each-other game.

mr huttner is really nice too. we had to draw lots to see which seat we got, and then go up to the front in numerical order to present 3 facts about ourselves, and put a star on the smartboard map on where we call 'home'. I put it on what I thought was singapore, until mr huttner told me it was part of indonesia. oh, damn. I printed out our nuts & bolts sheet already (which is like an expectations-intro thingy) and I need to sign it, so do my parents.

that's mr VAUN, and not mr VOGAN, as I mistakenly pronounced his name. he's new. again, we played a get-to-know-each-other game. it was quite fun. if I described it it would take ages, but to sum it up let's say that while it was wonderfully fun and hilarious (and embarrassing- I think it was called the embarrassing name game or something), I don't remember many people's names. I remember anna, and amy, and tata, and dajun, and kaejun (is it kaejun? it's something jun, right). aaaaand oh damn nobody else. LOL.

spanish with mr ethridge is actually next, but I'll skip it to briefly describe the next few subjects (dance, humanities and publications) cos spanish is the main bulk of this.

anyway other than that no major problems elective-wise, I think. took a pre-algebra test (cos I looked through the algebra I paper and it was like, TOUGH). pre-algebra is where you learn, well, pre-algebra before passing on to algebra. and algebra, if you pass, you go to geometry. yah. :D

we have a new student getaway thingy next week where we have a like 2 day 1 night getaway at this hotel one hour away from school. :D and orientation's tmr. whee! oh and I have my new student ID for purchasing food in the cafetaria. there's this totally cool top-up machine at the cafetaria where you slot in cash to top up your student ID value. ;D

1. I saw 2 elephants yesterday! On the road! really! we were at Soi 11 eating at Limoncello -which is a very nice pizzeria place- and then when we came out we were walking along to the mall to buy groceries and then I nearly walked into an elephant. really. my mum was like, GRACE! ELEPHANT! I thought she meant those cute soft toys that you buy for souvenirs -they really ARE cute- and then I looked straight and was like WHOA. LOL. they're really cute, the live ones XD XD XD
2. we went chatuchak weekend market today, but didn't manage to scale the whole thing, it's so damn huge, LOL, but bought some stuff. and chingying this is for you- we came across a bead shop! IT WAS SO DAMN PRO MAN they sold like hoops, wires, hooks, pliers, beads, chains, pouches and everything, IT'S DAMN COOL I bought like a lot. including my long-lost pliers LOL because I don't have any and have to do the wire by hand, which is harder than it looks, lol. it's damn cheap too. wheeee. I got the namecard!

we went to platinum fashion mall yesterday too, it's great lol bought a cute little dress. okay not little. but it's damn nice. lol. (: at chatuchak we found bags for kate lynn and su lynn (my cousins) and a cute red belt and studs for me (ISB allows like earrings, as long as they don't pose a safety hazard like my huge ones, so I'm on the lookout for cute studs; these ones were white leather flowers).

oh and at robinson's we found a pair of shoes. for like 299 baht. cos you see I actually wanted this other pair of shoes that were really nice and comfy and pretty on like tuesday, but my mum said she'll think about it first cos she was busy that week with functions, then when we went back yesterday it was ALL SOLD OUT. I was damn emo lah. i mean it was really nice! D: sniff.

yes I am a shopaholic, lol.

sorry I just felt like writing that. I feel so hungry. D: lol. today for lunch we went to a singaporean restaurant called Ping (pingghee! yay) to eat, and the guy we were meeting said 12.00, then the owner said "he told ME 12.30", and the guy came at ONE. 1.00, YES. turned out he was caught in a jam. but he didn't call us at all to tell us! we only found out cos the owner called HIM. but anyway the owner turned out to be quite nice. and and and HE HAS MET ALEX FERGUSON BEFORE AND HAS DINNER WITH HIM LIKE ONCE IN A WHILE! AND HE HAS A WINE BOTTLE WITH FERGUSON'S SIGNATURE ON IT! AND WHEN WE WENT UPSTAIRS WE SAW A SHIRT WITH RONALDO'S SIGNATURE ON IT!

like what the heck this guy certainly has connections. O.o
